Patrick Murphy won first place at the 2008 Washington State Science and Engineering Fair

In the April, all-state, science and engineering fair, Patrick Murphy took home several awards for his project in the Behavioral and Patrick Murphy Social Sciences category. Patrick began work on his project a year ago, and with close guidance from his instructor and mentor, created a project that won him first place in his category, as well as Special Recognition for a Quality Project, an Award of Excellence from the American Psychological Association and a $60,000 scholarship to Wesleyan University.

Andrew Bartee has been honored with a 2007 Princess Grace Award

Andrew Bartee has been honored with a 2007 Princess Grace Award, which recognizes aspiring artists in theater, film and dance. A junior at  Insight School of Washington and this year's youngest honoree, Andrew is a dancer at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle. Catch Andrew on stage as he performs several roles in the Pacific Northwest Ballet holiday classic The Nutcracker, Nov. 23 through Dec. 29 at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.
